Feel Supported.
The Brave Center is a place to get help, feel safe, and be known.
Practical resources
We have the information and resources necessary to help you in the midst of your struggle.
Immediate Care
Whether you’re having a bad day or in need of urgent help, we have trained staff and volunteers eager to connect with you.
Next Steps
We help you find the next best step in your healing journey so that you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Where We’re Headed
Education and Training: Having the resources available to create quality trainings for organizations and education for the community.
DBT, Support, and Peer Groups: Being able to offer a consistent place to show up and be known.
Immediate Care: The building will provide a way for anyone in pain to show up and get day-of care and practical next steps.
Our plan is to have a fully operational walk-in help center with trained staff and volunteers available in 2028.
It will have everything needed to make the Brazos Valley feel seen, equipped, and supported so that suicide is never an option. The walk-in center will be a physical location for us to provide the services that our community lacks to make this vision come to life.
We Need You
In order to see this vision come to life by 2028, we need your help.
VOLUNTEER
We need a team of volunteers who are excited about the vision and wanting to help. Whether it’s helping with admin, being a care advocate, or joining our fundraising team, there is a gap that only volunteers can fill.
GIVE
The Brave Center does not exist without the help of donations. Monthly giving allows us to plan, hire, and show up consistently for people who need it. One-time gifts aid in making the walk-in center a reality.
PARTNER
We rely on the support of community partners to sustain the vision of The Brave Center. Businesses, ministries, churches, schools, and organizations all bring us closer to a community that is equipped and supported.
